Marking Menu

Validation level: 5. CHI, UIST, CSCW and TOCHI paper publication

A marking menu is a Pie Menu where you select the items with straight stroke gestures. The menu only appears during the gesture.

A marking menu can be hierarchical, allowing zig-zag gestures to select nested items.
